What it is
An LLM-based story synopsis generator structured around 5W1H — who, what, when, where, why, how. The concept is one line: use the six questions as the frame the generation hangs on, rather than a free-text prompt.
Nothing past that line has been designed yet.
Why this experiment
Asking a model for “a story idea” produces something shaped like a story idea and empty in the middle. The six questions are interesting because they are the smallest structure that forces the gaps to be visible — a synopsis missing its why looks obviously unfinished in a way that a paragraph of prose does not.
Whether that structure helps a writer or just adds six boxes to fill in is the thing to find out.
How it works
Undecided. The working assumption is an LLM through the Claude API with a web front end, which is a plausible starting point rather than a chosen design.
No interface, no prompt strategy, and no scope have been settled.
Where it is now
The concept is defined but work has not started. Details are pending, and this page will be rewritten rather than expanded once they exist.
